By Chris Jablonski On December 13, 2004, the U.S. Electoral College gave President Bush a 286-251 victory over challenger John Kerry. As with the 2000 Presidential election in Florida, votes were intentionally lost, manipulated, or simply not counted. Similar to the previous election, the outcome of the election would be determined by voters of one state. The factors that led to a Bush victory in 2004 include political bias, disenfranchisement of voters, and flaws with electronic voting systems. Sufficient evidence proves that there were many flaws within the Ohio voting system, and that the poor voting practices in Ohio once again led to a controversial victory for President Bush.
